15.0-inch replacement display for Surface Laptop 5

This NUOLAISUN panel is built as a direct replacement for the 15.0-inch screens used in Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 models 1978 and 1979 from 2022 and Surface Laptop 6 model 2035 from 2024. It ships as a complete LCD touch-screen digitiser assembly ready for professional installation. The package contains the screen only, not a laptop.

2496 x 1664 native resolution

The single specification that decides fit is the 2496 by 1664 pixel resolution combined with the 15.0-inch diagonal. Surface Laptop 5 and 6 units with different screen sizes or resolutions use a different part and will not accept this assembly. Verify the model numbers 1978, 1979 or 2035 on the original device before ordering.

Sustained operation depends on correct installation

Under continuous use the panel behaves as a standard LED LCD; it has no active cooling and relies on the laptop chassis for heat dissipation. Because the digitiser is bonded to the glass, any flex or pressure applied during a careless swap can cause permanent touch faults or backlight bleed that worsens with time. Professional fitting with the battery and power cables disconnected is the only way to maintain reliable long-term operation.
