Compatible 17.3 inch 144HZ replacement panel

This NUOLAISUN 17.3 inch LCD panel replaces screens in specific ASUS ROG Strix models including G731G, G731GU, GL731G, GL704GV, GL704GW, G712LW and G712LV. It matches the 1920x1080 resolution and 144HZ refresh rate. The 40 pin connector and part numbers M50442-001 and M51680-001 must match the original screen exactly.

Professional installation required

The package contains only the non-touch LCD screen digitizer panel without any tools, brackets, cables or instructions. Installers must disconnect the power adapter and battery cable before fitting. Supplier advises consulting before purchase because internal screen models can be compatible across different laptops despite varying part numbers.

For repair technicians matching exact part numbers

Suitable for professionals replacing a damaged panel in the listed ASUS models when the original screen carries the same 40 pin layout and part numbers. Not for buyers who cannot verify their screen model from the back label, who need a complete assembly with bezel or hinges, or who require touch functionality.

Questions about this item

Will the 40-pin connector on this 17.3-inch 1920x1080 panel need periodic reseating or replacement?

The 40-pin connector is a permanent soldered interface; no routine reseating or replacement is required after correct installation.

What is the first limit reached when the 144 Hz refresh rate runs continuously on this 17.3-inch display?

The panel is rated for 144 Hz sustained operation; the first practical limit is the host GPU's ability to drive frames at that rate.

How much heat does the 1920x1080 144 Hz LCD generate during all-day use?

The LCD itself produces minimal heat; warmth felt near the screen comes mainly from the backlight and the laptop's internal components.
