17.3 inch 2560x1600 replacement panel

This 17.3 inch LCD panel offers a 2560x1600 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate for compatible laptops. It uses a 40 pin connector and is designed as a non-touch display replacement. The screen targets owners of specific MSI Raider and Sword models needing a new panel.

Sustained visual output at 240Hz

The 240Hz refresh rate supports smooth motion during extended gaming or creative sessions. A 2560x1600 pixel grid maintains sharp detail across the 17.3 inch surface under continuous load. The panel is built to deliver consistent brightness and colour stability over long periods.

Verify connector and model before ordering

Check that your existing screen uses a 40 pin interface and matches the listed MSI Raider GE78HX or Sword 17 HX model numbers. Confirm the part numbers on the back of your current panel before purchase. Professional installation is required with power and battery cables disconnected.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 240 Hz 17.3 inch panel add during all-day use?

The LCD panel itself has no fan or moving parts, so it adds no audible noise and only the minimal heat normal for a 2560 x 1600 display.

Which existing laptop parts must match the 40-pin connector on this screen?

Your laptop must use a 40-pin eDP cable and the same mounting brackets; the panel is built for MSI Raider GE78HX 13V 13VH 13VX 14V and Sword 17 HX B14V B14VGKG models.

Will the 2560 x 1600 240 Hz panel work with the GPU in an older 17.3 inch laptop I keep?

It works if the older GPU drives 2560 x 1600 at 240 Hz over eDP and the chassis accepts a 40-pin non-touch panel; otherwise the resolution or refresh rate will be limited.
