Eight-fibre multi-mode MPO cable links InfiniBand NDR equipment over three metres
This is a passive multi-mode fiber optic cable built for InfiniBand NDR links. It connects two MPO12 APC connectors across a three-metre run. The assembly targets data-centre operators who need reliable short-reach interconnects between switches, adapters or storage nodes.
The cable terminates in twelve-fibre MPO connectors with angled physical contact polish on both ends. This polarity and ferrule geometry are mandatory for the NDR optical lane mapping. Buyers whose equipment uses a different connector style or polish type cannot use this cable.

The 3 metre reach connects adjacent or nearby switches and servers within the same rack row without excess slack.
The 12‑fibre MPO12 APC connectors carry eight active fibres for an NDR link, so the connector itself caps the channel at that fibre count.
