Single-port 400 GbE OSFP transceiver with MPO12 APC connector for 850 nm multimode fibre up to 50 m
This single-port transceiver delivers 400 Gbps Ethernet connectivity over multimode fibre using an OSFP form factor. It operates at an 850 nm wavelength with an MPO12 APC connector and supports links up to 50 metres. The flat-top design suits dense switch deployments where space and airflow are constrained. It is intended for network engineers building high-throughput data-centre fabrics.
Under continuous load the module maintains line-rate 400 Gbps without throttling, provided the host switch supplies adequate cooling for the flat-top OSFP cage. The 850 nm VCSEL array and MPO12 APC interface keep signal integrity stable across the full 50 metre multimode reach. Buyers who need longer distances or single-mode fibre should consider other form factors. The fixed 50 metre limit also means it cannot serve campus or metro spans.
