A 1U Ethernet switch with 48 SFP28 and 12 QSFP28 ports delivering 2.4 Tb/s throughput and 3.58 Bpps wire-speed forwarding
The NVIDIA SN3420 is a 1U open Ethernet switch built on the Spectrum-2 platform. It provides 48 SFP28 ports and 12 QSFP28 ports for high-density 25GbE and 100GbE connectivity. The switch runs Cumulus Linux on a dual-core x86 CPU with 8 GB system memory and 32 GB SSD storage.
This switch suits data-centre racks needing wire-speed 25GbE to servers and 100GbE uplinks with 2.4 Tb/s total throughput. It is not for environments that require Power over Ethernet on the front-panel ports. It is not for teams that need a proprietary operating system instead of an open Linux base.
The fabric delivers 2.4 Tb/s switching capacity with a 3.58 Bpps packet forwarding rate and a 42 MB packet buffer. Dual hot-swap AC power supplies and five N+1 redundant fans support continuous operation in forward or reverse airflow configurations.

The dual hot-swap supplies each accept 100-264 Vac at 50-60 Hz and draw between 2.9 A and 4.5 A depending on input voltage, so a fully loaded chassis can pull up to roughly 9 A at the low-voltage end.
You need SFP28 modules or direct-attach cables for 10 GbE or 25 GbE links on the 48 small-form-factor ports, and QSFP28 modules or cables for 40 GbE, 50 GbE or 100 GbE links on the 12 large-form-factor ports.
Yes — the 48 SFP28 ports auto-negotiate down to 1 GbE and 10 GbE, and the 12 QSFP28 ports support 40 GbE breakout cables, so existing copper or fibre links integrate without media converters.
