NVIDIA passive fiber cable with MPO12 APC connectors, 20 metres

NVIDIA

NVIDIA Passive Fiber Cable MMF MPO12 APC 20m MFP7E10N020

SKU CH-SDM4-FA9VY

20-metre multimode passive fibre cable with MPO12 APC connectors at both ends

  • 20 metre reach for extended rack-to-rack links
  • Multimode fibre supports short-range high-speed interconnects
  • MPO12 APC connectors ensure precise angled-polish alignment
  • Twelve-fibre layout delivers high-density parallel channels
  • Passive design requires no external power source

Purpose-built link

This NVIDIA passive fiber cable connects equipment with MPO12 APC interfaces over multimode fiber. It is intended for installers and data-centre operators who need a factory-terminated, twenty-metre run without active electronics.

Connector fit and handling

Dual MPO12 APC ferrules with angled-polish end faces reduce back-reflection in high-density patch panels. The passive construction means no power draw, no firmware and no heat, so the cable sits cleanly in existing trays and requires no extra rack units.

Distance limit

The twenty-metre length suits intra-rack or adjacent-rack links where the design calls for a single continuous multimode segment. Buyers needing longer spans or single-mode media should select a different cable type.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth does the MPO12 APC interface on this 20 m cable support?

The MPO12 APC connectors carry standard multimode fibre signals; the cable itself is passive and does not impose a bandwidth limit beyond the fibre and transceiver used.

What panel or cassette spacing is required to mount the MPO12 APC connectors on this 20 m cable?

Each MPO12 APC connector follows the standard MPO footprint, so it fits any panel or cassette cut to the common MPO dimensions.

How do I install the MPO12 APC connectors on this 20 m cable, and what step is often missed?

Push each connector straight in until the latch clicks; the step often missed is removing the protective dust caps before mating.
