Passive multimode fiber cable with MPO12 APC connectors splitting to two MPO12 APC ends over ten metres

  • MPO12 APC connectors ensure low-loss multimode links
  • Passive design needs no power or configuration
  • Splits one trunk into two 12-fibre channels

10-metre passive fibre cable

This ten-metre passive fibre cable links equipment using single-mode fibre with angled physical contact polish. One end terminates in an MPO12 APC connector while the other splits into two MPO12 APC connectors. The assembly is designed for high-density patching in data-centre or high-performance computing environments.

Check connector polarity

Verify that your transceivers and patch panels accept MPO12 APC interfaces and that the link budget supports single-mode fibre over the required distance. Ensure the polarity scheme of the split end matches the equipment port mapping. Confirm that the cable jacket rating suits the installation pathway.

Questions about this item

Does the 10 m cable include the MPO12 APC connectors on both ends or must they be purchased separately?

The cable arrives with one MPO12 APC connector on one end and two MPO12 APC connectors on the other, so no additional connectors are required.

Should I choose the 10 m length or the 20 m length for a rack-to-rack run of about 8 m?

The 10 m version provides enough slack for an 8 m run without the excess cable that a 20 m version would leave coiled in the rack.
