Black toner cartridge for Epson WorkForce

The NXT Premium PRMT252XL120 is a black toner cartridge built as a replacement for Epson originals. It comes as a single pack and is listed as new condition. The cartridge is engineered to fit a range of WorkForce printers without modification.

Offices using listed WorkForce models

This cartridge suits owners of the WorkForce WF-3620, WF-3620DWF, WF-3640, WF-3640DTWF, WF-7110DTW, WF-7610 or WF-7610DWF who need a black toner refill. It is not for colour printing, for printers outside the listed series, or for users who require OEM-branded supplies only.

Replacement for Epson 252XL black toner

The decisive specification is the replacement brand and model match: this unit replaces the Epson 252XL black toner. If your printer takes a different cartridge number the part will not work.

Questions about this item

How do I install the PRMT252XL120 cartridge in my WorkForce WF-3620, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, wait for the carriage to move to the centre, press the old cartridge tab to release it, then insert the new black cartridge until it clicks. The step often missed is removing the orange protective clip and pulling the sealing tape straight out before insertion.

What maintenance or replacement will the PRMT252XL120 need after it runs out?

The cartridge is a single-use black toner unit. When print quality fades or the printer signals low toner, replace the whole cartridge with another PRMT252XL120. No separate drum, waste bottle or developer unit is required for the listed WorkForce models.

What limit appears first during a long print run with the PRMT252XL120?

The page yield of the cartridge is the first limit. After approximately the rated number of pages, toner is depleted and the printer will stop until a fresh cartridge is fitted.
