A 1200 W ATX 3.0 full-modular supply with an 80 PLUS Gold rating, a 135 mm PWM fan, Japanese 105 °C capacitors and a native 12VHPWR cable for 600 W GPU delivery
Model ATX 80+ Gold (1200W)
The NZXT C1200 Gold delivers 1200 W of continuous output and is built to the ATX 3.0 standard for modern high-performance systems. It targets builders who need a single 16-pin 12VHPWR cable capable of supplying up to 600 W to a PCIe 5.0 graphics card such as the RTX 4090. The fully modular design means only the required cables stay in the case. Buyers who want more storage or additional PCIe connectors than the two 6+2-pin leads provided should look elsewhere.
A 135 mm PWM fan spins only as fast as the load and temperature demand, keeping noise low during typical gaming or workstation workloads. Active power factor correction rated at .96 and 80 PLUS Gold certification ensure high efficiency across the load range, which reduces waste heat and overall power draw from the wall. Japanese 105 °C-rated capacitors contribute to a rated MTBF exceeding 100,000 hours.
The unit measures 150 mm in depth, fitting standard ATX bays without clearance issues. All cables detach at the PSU side, including one 24-pin ATX, one 4+4-pin and one 8-pin CPU, one 16-pin 12VHPWR, two 6+2-pin PCIe, eight SATA and four peripheral connectors. This complement covers a single flagship GPU plus multiple drives and accessories, but does not support multi-GPU configurations.

Other versions of this model
Plug the 16-pin 12VHPWR cable straight into the GPU until it clicks; the step people miss is leaving a gentle curve so the connector does not bend sharply at the housing.
The 135 mm PWM fan is the only moving part; with an MTBF above 100,000 hours it typically runs for many years before a bearing wears out.
The 80 PLUS Gold efficiency target and the 135 mm fan curve set the practical ceiling; sustained 1200 W output will raise internal temperatures until the fan ramps to maximum speed.
