Full-size mechanical keyboard

The NZXT Function KB-1FSUS-BR is a wired mechanical keyboard built for PC gaming and typing on Windows 10 and 11. It features a durable aluminium top plate and a detachable palm rest for comfort during long sessions. The low-profile design keeps the desk footprint clean at 1.59 inches high, 17.40 inches wide and 5.03 inches deep.

Hot-swappable MX-compatible sockets

Every key position uses a 5-pin hot-swappable socket that accepts any Cherry MX-compatible switch, so you can change the feel without soldering. The board ships with Gateron Red linear RGB switches rated for 50 million keypresses and shine-through legends for clear backlighting.

CAM software and standard layout

NZXT CAM software provides per-key RGB control, macro programming and four onboard profiles that travel with the keyboard. A standard bottom row layout lets you install any aftermarket keycap set, while the removable USB-C cable allows custom cable swaps. The package includes a keycap puller, a switch removal tool, a 2 metre USB cable and the wrist rest.

Questions about this item

How does the 50 million keypress rating hold up in daily gaming and typing?

The Gateron Red linear switches are rated for 50 million keypresses, so the keyboard should maintain consistent actuation feel through extended gaming sessions and heavy workloads.

What does the USB interface actually limit in practice?

The wired USB connection provides a single removable USB-C cable up to two metres long and requires one free USB port on a Windows 10 or 11 system.

Will the 17.40-inch width fit on a standard desk with a detached wrist rest?

The full-size ANSI layout measures 17.40 inches wide and 5.03 inches deep; the detachable wrist rest adds extra depth only when attached.
