120 mm DC brushless fan

This is a 120 mm DC brushless fan designed for CPU air cooling. It operates at 12 V with a 0.24 A current draw and a 2.88 W power rating. The unit spins at 1400 RPM and delivers 56 CFM of airflow through a two-wire power connector.

System builders needing a basic 120 mm replacement

This fan suits builders who need a direct 120 mm replacement with standard 25 mm thickness and no lighting. It is not for users who require PWM speed control, higher static pressure for dense heatsinks, or RGB illumination.

Two-wire power connector

The two-wire connector provides fixed 12 V operation without speed signalling. This determines whether the fan can be used with motherboard headers that expect a tachometer or PWM input for automatic control.

Questions about this item

Will this 120mm fan fit a standard 120mm mounting grid?

Yes, the frame measures 120 by 120 by 25 millimetres, matching the common 120mm hole pattern.

How do I connect the two-wire lead to a motherboard header?

Plug the two-wire connector onto a 12 volt fan header; the fan runs at a fixed 1400 RPM because there is no PWM wire for speed control.

When should I plan to replace the brushless motor?

The sleeve-bearing motor is rated for continuous operation at 12 volts and 0.24 amps; replace it when noise or vibration appears.
