Pack of ten 4 A gG ceramic fuses with E27 bases rated for 500 V and 50 kA breaking capacity
This pack contains ten spiral-style ceramic fuses rated at four amps and five hundred volts. They use an E27 base and carry a gG characteristic for general line protection. The set suits maintenance teams and installers who need a ready supply of replaceable circuit protectors for industrial or commercial panels.
The fuses replace existing E27 gG links that have opened under fault current or aged in service. A swap is worth it when the original element shows discolouration, a visible break or when periodic testing confirms degraded performance. They are not for circuits that demand a different tripping curve or a higher breaking capacity than fifty kiloamps.
Each unit threads into a standard E27 holder without tools beyond a firm hand twist. The ceramic body resists heat but can crack if overtightened or dropped during fitting. The most common issue is a loose contact caused by debris on the holder threads, which leads to nuisance heating.

The E27 base needs a 27 mm diameter fuse holder for a secure fit.
Screw the fuse into the E27 holder until the ceramic body seats firmly; the common mistake is stopping at finger-tight instead of using a fuse puller to achieve full contact.
Replace the fuse immediately after it interrupts a 50 kA fault at 500 V, because the spiral element is single-use and cannot be reset.
