SKU CH-GD2J-APP7C

Ceramic square-tube fuse with knife-shaped contacts rated 63 A, 500/690 V and 100/50 kA breaking capacity

  • Amperage63
  • Product typeCircuit Protectors
  • Rated 63 A for reliable over-current protection
  • Ceramic square-tube body withstands high thermal stress
  • Knife-shaped contact ensures secure low-resistance connection
  • gG characteristic suits general-purpose line protection
  • Breaking capacity 100/50 kA at 500/690 V

Application

The RT16-00 NT00 fuse provides circuit protection for industrial and commercial electrical systems. It is rated at 63 amps and suited to installations that require a gG characteristic for general-purpose cable and equipment protection.

Construction

A ceramic square tube body houses the element and withstands the thermal stress of high fault currents. Knife shaped contacts allow secure mounting in compatible fuse bases or disconnect switches without soldering.

Electrical rating

The device is rated for 500/690 volts AC with a breaking capacity of 100/50 kA. It interrupts prospective short-circuit currents up to those levels, limiting energy let-through to protect downstream components.

Questions about this item

Does the 500/690 V rating cap the continuous voltage on a 690 V three-phase supply?

The fuse is rated 500 V AC and 690 V AC, so it can be used on systems up to 690 V without exceeding its voltage limit.

What mounting arrangement does the knife-shaped contact need?

The knife contact fits NH00 blade fuse bases or disconnectors that accept 00-size square-body ceramic tubes.
