A 100 A ceramic square-tube fuse with knife contacts rated 500/690 V for line protection
The RT16-00C NH00C is a ceramic square tube fuse with knife shaped contacts rated at 100 A in the gG operating class. It provides line protection for circuits up to 500/690 V with a breaking capacity of 100/50 kA. The fuse is supplied new and ready for installation in compatible fuse bases.
Electrical contractors and maintenance teams use this fuse link for general-purpose cable and equipment protection where a gG characteristic is specified. It is not suitable for applications requiring a motor-starting or semiconductor-specific time-current curve, nor for systems operating above the stated voltage or current ratings.
The single parameter that determines fit is the 100 A gG rating combined with the 500/690 V voltage rating and 100/50 kA breaking capacity. The fuse must match the prospective fault current and the coordination requirements of the downstream protective devices in the circuit.

Align the knife shaped contacts with the holder blades, press firmly until the ceramic square tube seats fully, then tighten the terminal screws to secure the 100 A gG element.
The ceramic square tube fuse is a single use device; after any fault that reaches the 50 kA breaking capacity it must be replaced with an identical RT16-00C unit.
Continuous 100 A load at 500/690 V will reach the gG thermal limit before the 50 kA short circuit rating becomes relevant.
