USB-powered stereo speakers

The OFFSIR Gaming Speaker is a 2.0 channel desktop audio system powered entirely from a single USB port. It is built for gamers and general PC users who want a compact, cable-efficient upgrade from built-in monitor or laptop speakers without adding a separate power brick.

Sustained output and thermal behaviour

Dual 5 W drivers combine for a total rated output of 10 watts RMS, a level the amplifier can maintain continuously without the compression or distortion that appears when smaller modules are pushed hard. The USB power envelope keeps heat low, so the speakers stay stable through long gaming sessions or extended music playback.

Single USB connector requirement

The only wired connection is a USB plug that carries both power and audio signal; there is no 3.5 mm analogue input. If your setup relies on a traditional headphone jack or you need Bluetooth pairing, this speaker will not integrate without an additional adapter.

Questions about this item

How much power does the speaker draw from a USB port during all-day use?

The unit is rated at 10 watts total and is powered entirely from a single USB connection, so it draws up to that amount from the host port.

Does the speaker need a separate 3.5 mm audio cable or does it carry sound over the USB link?

Audio and power both travel through the single USB cable; no 3.5 mm jack is required.

Will the USB-only connection work with an older desktop that only has USB 2.0 ports?

Yes, the speaker uses a standard USB plug for both power and audio, so it functions with any USB port including USB 2.0.
