250W Replacement Power Supply for Synology NAS

This 250 watt unit is built as a direct replacement power supply for specific Synology rack and tower models. It is intended for administrators who need to restore power redundancy or replace a failed module in a supported NAS chassis. The part is supplied new and matches the original form factor for the listed systems.

Compatibility limited to DS1513+ DS1512+ DS1511+

The single specification that decides fit is the exact model list: DS1513+, DS1512+, DS1511+, DS1010+, RS814+ and RS815+. This supply will not work in other Synology units or in generic server chassis. Buyers who need a supply for a different NAS model or a standard ATX form factor cannot use this part.

Questions about this item

What does the 250 W rating mean for my Synology DS1513+?

It matches the original unit's maximum output so the NAS can power all drive bays and the CPU under full load without hitting a power ceiling.

What connector standard does this supply use for the RS814+?

It uses the proprietary Synology server PSU pin-out and form factor that fits the RS814+ chassis directly.
