Pine wood construction

Twelve unfinished pine boxes arrive in a single pack, each measuring 3.5 x 2.1 x 1.9 inches. The natural wood surface is polished smooth and ready for paint, pyrography or engraving. Crafters and hobbyists gain a blank canvas for custom designs.

Lift-off lid with clasp

A front-closing clasp secures the lift-off lid, keeping small jewellery, crystals or craft supplies inside. The boxes are not water resistant, so they suit dry indoor storage only. Light weight at 1.5542589471 pounds for the full set makes them easy to move between workspaces.

Passive storage thermals

Solid pine provides natural insulation without fans or power draw. Noise is limited to the quiet click of the clasp during opening and closing. The material handles normal room temperatures without warping when kept dry.

Questions about this item

What are the exact interior dimensions of the OIC 1131 filing box?

Each box measures 3.5 inches long by 2.1 inches wide by 1.9 inches high, sized for standard business cards.

How much clearance does the front clasp add to the box depth?

The lift-off lid sits flush; the front clasp does not protrude beyond the 2.1-inch width, so boxes stack tightly.

Do I need to sand the pine wood before painting or staining?

The surface is already polished smooth; you can paint, stain, or wood-burn directly without sanding.
