Olympus America Inc. V110030BU000 TG-7 12MP shoot camera Black

Tough compact camera for outdoor shooting

The Olympus TG-7 is a 12-megapixel point-and-shoot built to survive water, shock and freezing conditions. Its 1/2.33-inch CMOS sensor pairs with a 4x optical zoom lens that opens to a bright f/2.0 aperture at the wide end. The 3.0-inch fixed LCD shows 1,037,000 dots for composing in bright light. It records 4K video at 30p or 25p with a 29-minute clip limit.

Fits a pocket or a dive rig without extra bulk

The sealed body reaches 15 metres underwater without a housing and operates down to -10 °C, so it slots into a kayak dry-bag, a ski jacket pocket or a microscope stand alike. USB Type-C charging means one cable serves power and data, while built-in GPS and sensors log location and altitude automatically. The dual-lock battery cover and dustproof construction keep sand and grit out of the internals.

Replaces a rugged action cam

The 1 cm minimum focus distance and four macro modes, including Microscope Mode with up to 44.4x magnification, cover detail work that action cameras cannot. RAW capture and 20 fps high-speed shooting add flexibility for serious stills, while five dedicated underwater modes handle colour correction at depth. Buyers who need interchangeable lenses, a larger sensor or zoom beyond 100 mm equivalent should look elsewhere.
