Ultra-slim arc pendant for low ceilings

This 8.8 inch diameter arc pendant sits just 0.46 inches below the ceiling plane. It delivers 1250 lumens of 5000K daylight white light while drawing only 18 watts. The aluminium body and integrated junction box suit modern interiors where recess depth is limited.

Thermals noise and power in daily use

The fixture runs on 120 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz and consumes 18 watts, replacing a 100 watt incandescent equivalent. With no moving parts the unit is completely silent. IC rating allows direct contact with insulation so heat dissipates safely inside the ceiling cavity.

Sustained output and installation limits

Continuous operation at full brightness is supported by the ETL listed driver and aluminium heat spreading. The separate 4.1 by 1.3 by 3.5 inch junction box mounts to a ceiling beam before the panel clips into an 8.25 inch cutout. Not suited for buyers who need adjustable colour temperature or a larger aperture.

Questions about this item

How do I install the junction box and arc lamp into an 8.25 inch cutout?

Mount the 4.1 inch wide by 1.3 inch high by 3.5 inch deep junction box to a ceiling beam, make wiring connections inside, then press the 8.8 inch diameter by 0.46 inch high arc lamp into the opening until the tension spring clips lock it flush against the drywall.

Which component will need replacement first and when?

The integrated LED module inside the arc lamp is rated for long life; the 3 year warranty period is the manufacturer's stated coverage window for any component failure.

What limits continuous operation at 120VAC 50-60Hz?

The IC rated design allows direct contact with insulation, so the thermal limit of the 18 watt driver and LED array determines maximum sustained output before protective dimming engages.
