In-ear Headset with 3.5 mm Plug
The KZ ZST is a wired in-ear headset finished in black with a 1.2 m cable and an L-bend 3.5 mm plug. It is built for listeners who want a single cable for both audio and a built-in microphone on computers and other 3.5 mm sources.
Limits of the 3.5 mm Analogue Connection
The analogue 3.5 mm interface carries stereo sound and microphone signal without digital processing or external power. Cable length is fixed at 1.2 m and the plug cannot be adapted to USB or proprietary jacks without an extra adapter.
18 Ohm Load and 120 dB Sensitivity
At 18 ohms impedance and 120 dB sensitivity the earphones reach loud volumes from low-voltage outputs such as laptop headphone jacks. The 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response covers the audible range, while the dynamic driver handles bass-heavy material; very high output levels may exceed the driver’s linear range.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 3.5 mm plug or a different connector for my PC?
The ZST uses a 3.5 mm L-bend jack, the standard analogue socket on almost every desktop and laptop sound card.
What does the 120 dB sensitivity mean for everyday volume?
At 120 dB per milliwatt the drivers reach loud listening levels from a phone or motherboard output without an extra amplifier.
Does the 18 ohm impedance limit what sources I can use?
An 18 ohm load is easy for any 3.5 mm output — phones, laptops, controllers and USB dongles all drive it cleanly.
