OmniTrade DR420 drum cartridge, black, 12000 pages

Compatible drum for Brother laser printers

The OmniTrade DR420 is a new black drum cartridge built to replace the Brother DR420 unit in a wide range of HL, DCP, MFC and IntelliFax models. It ships as a single pack containing 100 percent new components including shell, OPC, rollers and carbon powder. The cartridge is rated for approximately 12000 pages at 5 percent coverage on letter or A4 media. Buyers who need a colour drum or a higher-capacity unit will not find it here.

Thermal and acoustic behaviour in normal use

Laser drum units have no moving parts of their own and draw no power independently of the printer. Operating temperature and noise are therefore determined entirely by the host device and remain unchanged by this compatible drum. The unit adds no measurable heat or sound beyond what the specified Brother printers already produce.

Sustained printing performance

Over a full 12000-page cycle the drum maintains consistent image density and registration without the fade that can appear on refilled or remanufactured units. Page yield is rated at the industry-standard 5 percent coverage, so actual output will vary with document content. Users who routinely print solid-graphics pages should expect fewer total sheets before replacement.
