What the X22 headset is

The ONITOON X22 is an over-ear gaming headset with 50mm drivers, detachable cat ears and RGB lighting. It connects through a 3.5mm jack for audio and a USB cable for the lights. The adjustable headband and PU leather cushions are built for long sessions on PC, PS4, PS5, Mac or Switch.

Limits of the 3.5mm connection

The 3.5mm plug carries stereo audio and microphone signals but cannot power the RGB lighting on its own. A separate USB connection is required for the light effect. On Switch the microphone function is not supported, and the headset has no wireless capability beyond the listed IR type.

The 50mm driver specification

Large 50mm drivers deliver a 5Hz-20KHz frequency response with 105dB sensitivity and 32 ohm impedance.
