Wired USB-C earbuds for professionals

The OpenRock Link 10 connects via USB Type-C and uses a wired stereo design with an open-ear form factor. A 6.89 ft cable links the earbuds to the host device while an in-line controller handles basic call functions. The rotating microphone arm can be positioned for clear voice pickup during meetings.

Passive cooling with no active noise

Because the Link 10 draws power only from the USB-C port, it generates no measurable heat and uses no fan or active circuitry. The open-ear architecture lets ambient sound pass naturally, so there is no isolation pressure or occlusion effect during long sessions. Power consumption stays minimal with no battery to charge.

Replaces bulky headsets for all-day calls

This earset targets users who want to move away from heavy over-ear headbands that cause fatigue after several hours. It is not suited for buyers who need deep bass immersion, active noise cancellation or wireless freedom of movement. The jump makes sense when comfort and situational awareness matter more than audio isolation.

Questions about this item

How do I plug the Link 10 into a USB-C port and route the 6.89 ft cable without kinking it?

Insert the USB-C connector fully until it clicks, then lay the 6.89 ft cable in a loose loop; avoid sharp bends near the in-line controller so the rotating microphone stays aligned.

Which part of the Link 10 wears out first and how do I replace it?

The rotating microphone boom and in-line controller buttons see the most movement; if either fails the whole earset is replaced because no user-serviceable parts are listed.

At what point does the 20 Hz–20 kHz stereo output start to compress during long calls?

The dynamic EQ and noise-reduction processing engage automatically when sustained volume pushes the driver limits, so compression appears first at continuous high-level speech rather than at a fixed time.
