Ophanie ARC3V3267 Area Rug

The Ophanie ARC3V3267 is a rectangular area rug measuring 48 by 72 inches with a 1.57 inch pile height. It is machine-made from 100 percent polyester and features a solid black colour. The rug suits bedrooms, living rooms, nurseries and dorm rooms where a soft, modern floor covering is wanted.

Capacity and Headroom

The rug covers 21.2 square feet of floor space and weighs 3.44 pounds. Its high-density sponge interlayer adds cushioning for barefoot walking and tummy time. The non-slip backing with anti-slip dots keeps the rug in place on hard floors, though it is not water resistant and should be kept away from open flames and heat sources.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a textile floor covering the rug has no power draw, no moving parts and produces no noise. The polyester construction does not generate heat and the material is safe for children and pets. Care instructions advise keeping the rug away from fire sources and following local fire safety regulations.

Questions about this item

Will the 48 by 72 inch rug lie flat over my existing low-pile carpet without bunching?

The 1.57 inch high pile and 3.44 pound weight help it stay in place, while the non-slip polyester backing with anti-slip dots adds friction on top of low-pile carpet.

How can I confirm the non-slip backing is gripping the floor properly after I unroll it?

Press down on several spots — the rug should not slide on hard floors, and the high-density sponge interlayer should feel firm yet cushioned underfoot.

Does the box contain only the 21.2 square foot rug or are rug pads or anchors included?

The included components list shows only the area rug itself; no separate pad, tape or anchors are supplied.
