Safavieh KMAT Runner Beige 17.3" x 60" area rug

Runner dimensions and intended use

The Safavieh KMAT runner measures 17.3 inches wide by 60 inches long, providing a narrow cushioned surface for kitchens, laundry rooms, offices or other high-traffic zones. It targets anyone who stands for long periods at a sink, desk or counter and wants to reduce fatigue. The neutral beige tone suits modern décor without clashing. Buyers who need a wider mat or a full-room rug will not find sufficient coverage here.

Waterproof surface and anti-slip limits

The top layer is waterproof and water-resistant, so spills can be wiped away with a damp cloth or vacuumed without soaking through to the foam core. The underside is described as super non-slip, yet the care notes warn that water trapped beneath the rug may cause slippage, so the floor must stay dry during use. The beveled edge is meant to reduce tripping, but the mat cannot compensate for uneven or wet subfloors.

Machine-made polyester construction

The runner is machine-made from 100 percent polyester with a PVC and foam core, weighing 4 pounds. The materials are designed to keep their shape under extended, heavy use while remaining light enough to roll up for cleaning or repositioning. The wipe-clean surface suits busy households, though the rug must always be placed on a flat, dry floor to maintain its non-slip performance.
