Opteka 2X Telephoto Converter

The Opteka OPT2XTC is a black 2X telephoto converter designed to double the focal length of compatible Opteka SLR lenses. It supports auto-focus operation and weighs 0.23 units, attaching to the 650-1300mm zoom, 500mm preset, 500mm mirror and 420-800mm T-mount models.

For owners of listed Opteka lenses seeking extra

Photographers using the supported Opteka 650-1300mm, 500mm or 420-800mm lenses can extend their range with auto-focus retained. Shooters with lenses from other brands, different focal lengths or without T-mount compatibility should look at other converters.

2X multiplication factor on specific Opteka models

The converter doubles the focal length of the 650-1300mm, 500mm preset, 500mm mirror and 420-800mm T-mount lenses only. It is not a universal fit; compatibility is limited to the four Opteka lens types named in the specifications.
