DS346 replacement lamp module
The Optoma DS346 is a complete 190W projector lamp module that combines a new Osram P-VIP bulb with its housing. It arrives fully assembled for straightforward installation in compatible Optoma projectors. Buyers who need a bare bulb without the housing will not find that option here.
Sustained brightness over thousands of hours
The lamp delivers 5,000 hours of operation in normal mode and extends to 6,000 hours when the projector runs in economy mode. This rated life reflects continuous use rather than a brief peak output. Users who run their projector for many hours each day should plan for replacement sooner than occasional users.
P-VIP lamp interface and ISO9001 build
The Osram P-VIP bulb operates within the projector's proprietary lamp driver, so compatibility is tied to the specific DS346 module design. Each unit is manufactured to ISO9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition voltage, connections and run-time. Projectors that require a different lamp code or wattage cannot use this module.

Questions about this item
How much heat and power does the 190 W Osram P-VIP lamp add during all-day use?
The lamp draws 190 watts, so it adds that much heat to the room; the projector's own cooling system handles the thermal load.
What must I already own for the DS346 module to work?
You need a compatible Optoma projector that accepts the SP.8VH01GC01 lamp module; the housing is pre-assembled and requires no extra parts.
Will this replacement lamp behave the same as the original in my older Optoma projector?
Yes, it is built to the same 190 W specification and rated for 5,000 hours normal or 6,000 hours economy mode, matching the original lamp's performance.
