Replacement lamp module with 190W P-VIP bulb delivering 4,500 to 10,000 hours of life
This 190W replacement lamp module fits the Optoma DX330 projector. It ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing so the projector can be back in service quickly. The lamp uses a Philips P-VIP light source rated for 4,500 hours in normal mode or 10,000 hours in economy mode. Buyers needing a different wattage or base type cannot use this module.
Normal operation delivers about 4,500 hours before replacement is required, while economy mode extends that to roughly 10,000 hours. Brightness and colour consistency will gradually decline as the lamp ages, and the economy setting reduces light output to achieve the longer figure. The lamp is built to ISO 9001 quality standards and tested for ignition, voltage and run-time. Installations that run continuously without cool-down cycles may see shorter actual life.
The complete housing slides into the projector without tools, and the connector mates directly with the existing socket. Alignment tabs prevent incorrect insertion, so most users finish the swap in minutes. The most common issue is forgetting to reset the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu, which leaves the replacement warning active. Dust on the new bulb face can cause hot spots, so handle the module by the housing only.

The DX330 is offered in three OEM versions — the original bulb maker's lamp, the Optoma-branded lamp, and an alternate OEM bulb maker's lamp — plus an economical compatible version using genuine OEM parts; all are built to ISO 9001 standards and tested for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.
The 190 watt P-VIP bulb delivers the light output the DX330 was designed for; the projector's cooling system handles the corresponding heat, so brightness and thermal behaviour match the original lamp.
In normal mode expect about 4,500 hours of operation; switching to economy mode can extend usable life to roughly 10,000 hours, depending on how often the projector is powered on and off.
