Optoma EX522 180W P-VIP replacement lamp

The Optoma EX522 is a genuine compatible replacement projector lamp module designed for specific Optoma projectors. It arrives as a fully assembled 180W P-VIP bulb inside its housing, ready for straightforward installation. This new unit suits owners needing to restore brightness after their original lamp reaches end of life. It is not intended for projectors that require a different wattage or lamp form factor.

Lamp life and operating modes

In normal mode the lamp is rated for 3000 hours of use, while economy mode extends the rating to 4000 hours. The 180W P-VIP bulb delivers the light output expected by the host projector throughout this period. As hours accumulate, brightness will gradually decline until replacement becomes necessary. Buyers who need longer rated life or higher lumen output than this lamp provides should consider a different projector model.

Compatibility and quality assurance

Each unit is manufactured to ISO9001 standards and undergoes checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time. The module matches the mechanical and electrical interface required by the compatible Optoma projectors. It will not fit or function in projectors designed for other lamp types or wattages. No other interface or technology specifications apply to this replacement lamp.
