EzPro 738 projector lamp module

The OPTOMA EzPro 738 is a 200 W UHP replacement lamp supplied as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly. It is intended for owners of compatible Optoma projectors who need a direct-fit light source without sourcing separate components.

Installation and common issues

The pre-assembled module slides into the projector’s lamp compartment and locks with the existing screws, so no wiring or bulb alignment is required. The most frequent issue is forgetting to reset the lamp-hour counter in the projector menu, which leaves the replacement warning active.

Lamp life and interface limits

Rated at 2,000 hours, the lamp will gradually lose brightness and colour uniformity as it ages, eventually requiring another swap. The projector’s own power supply and cooling system dictate actual runtime, so environmental heat or restricted airflow can shorten the usable period.
