A 130 W replacement lamp module rated for 2,000 hours, supplied with bulb and housing for straightforward installation
This 130W lamp module is a new Optoma SP.L1001.001 replacement projector lamp. It arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing for straightforward installation in compatible Optoma projectors. The unit uses a new Osram P-VIP 130W bulb to restore original brightness and colour performance. It is intended for owners of supported Optoma models needing a direct replacement.
The lamp ships pre-mounted in its housing, removing the need to handle a bare bulb during fitting. Each unit is manufactured to ISO9001 standards and undergoes checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time. Depending on stock, the module may be an OEM version from the original bulb maker, the Optoma-branded OEM, an alternative OEM source, or a compatible version using genuine OEM parts.
The lamp carries a rated life of 2000 hours under normal operating conditions. This figure determines how long the projector can run before brightness drops to a level requiring another change. Buyers who need a longer interval between replacements should verify whether their projector supports a higher-wattage or extended-life alternative not covered by this module.

The lamp is rated for 2,000 hours of typical use before brightness drops to half its original level, so replacement timing depends on how many hours you run the projector each day.
The 130W power draw and the 2,000-hour rated life mean thermal stress on the P-VIP bulb is the first limit reached during extended sessions.
A 130W lamp generates noticeable heat; the projector’s cooling fans will run at higher speeds to maintain safe temperatures, producing audible airflow in a quiet room.
