Compatible Projector Lamp

The OPTOMA X28 projector lamp is a ready-to-install module that combines a new 185W Philips UHP bulb with its housing. It is designed for owners of Optoma projectors who need a direct replacement without additional assembly.

Sustained Brightness Output

In normal mode the lamp delivers up to 2,000 hours of operation, while economy mode extends that to 3,000 hours by reducing power draw. Both ratings reflect continuous use rather than brief peaks, so brightness remains stable across long presentations or film sessions.

Projector Model Verification

Confirm that your Optoma projector accepts the SP.8EH01GC01 lamp module before ordering, as several versions exist for the X28 series. The unit is manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards and includes beam-performance and ignition checks, but it will not fit projectors outside the specified compatibility list.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 185W lamp draw during all-day use?

Does the module include the housing so I can install it without extra parts?

Yes, the replacement ships as a fully assembled bulb and housing, ready for direct installation in the projector.

Will this SP.8EH01GC01 lamp work in my older Optoma projector that uses the X28 module?

The lamp is built to the X28 specification (SP.8EH01GC01) and fits the projectors that originally shipped with that module.
