9.5 mm SATA DVD Burner for Laptops

This internal DVD and CD burner fits laptops and all-in-one PCs that require a 9.5 mm slim drive with a SATA connection. It reads and writes every common DVD and CD format, making it a direct replacement for a failed or missing optical drive. The unit ships as an OEM bulk pack without retail accessories. Builders who need a 12.7 mm or 9.0 mm drive cannot use this model.

Replaces Matching 9.5 mm SATA Slim Drives

Swap this drive in when an existing 9.5 mm SATA burner has failed or when a system lacks an optical drive but has the correct bay and connector. The upgrade is worthwhile only if the chassis accepts the 9.5 mm height and the motherboard provides a standard SATA port. Systems that require a thicker 12.7 mm drive or a thinner 9.0 mm drive are not compatible.

Check Bay Height and SATA Connector Before Ordering

Verify that the device bay measures 9.5 mm in height and that the motherboard offers a free SATA data and power connection. The original mounting brackets must be transferred from the old drive to this unit. Buyers whose laptops use a different height or a different interface will not be able to install this burner.
