Cover dimensions and purpose

The Orbis CGP4048-1 is a rectangular snap-on lid sized at 48 1/4 by 40 1/4 inches. It is made from black HDPE and fits the GP4048-50 bulk bin. The cover protects stored contents from dust and weather during outdoor use.

Behaviour under sustained load

The HDPE construction resists cracking when the lid remains clamped on a full bin for long periods. Snap-on tabs keep the cover seated through temperature swings and vibration. The rigid panel distributes weight evenly when bins are stacked.

Build quality and daily implications

Black HDPE will not rust or rot and cleans with a hose. The snap-on design lets one person remove or replace the lid without tools. Rectangular shape matches standard 48x40 pallet footprints for efficient yard stacking.
