3.5 inch HDD protective case

The Orico PHP-35 is a hard-shell carry case sized for 3.5 inch hard disk drives. An ABS plastic exterior and internal EVA cushion guard the drive against static, drops, vibration, water splashes and dust. A secure latch keeps the enclosure closed during transport. A marking label on the outside helps identify the drive inside.

For mobile drive storage and transport

Suits anyone who moves bare 3.5 inch drives between sites, stores spares on a shelf or ships drives in a bag. Not suited for 2.5 inch drives, SSDs or smaller form factors because the cavity is sized for 3.5 inch units. Buyers needing a rack-mount tray, a hot-swap cage or a multi-bay enclosure should look elsewhere.

Fits 3.5 inch hard drives only

The case interior is built to the 3.5 inch drive form factor, so only drives of that physical size sit securely in the EVA cushion. Drives of any other width or height will not be held firmly and lose the protective benefit.
