Universal four-port desktop charger

The Orico DCS desktop charger delivers four USB-A ports that share a single wall outlet. Two ports supply 5 V at 1 A and two supply 5 V at 2 A, letting phones, tablets, cameras and other 5 V USB devices charge together. A universal AC input of 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz makes it suitable for travel or fixed desk use. The compact black housing measures 200 x 260 x 45 mm.

Thermals noise and power

The charger runs from mains power with no fan, so it adds no audible noise to a quiet room. Built-in over-voltage, over-current, leakage and short-circuit protection limits heat rise during full-load operation across all four ports. Power draw scales with the connected devices and stays within the 5 V output specification. The fire-resistant ABS enclosure further contains any residual warmth.

Upgrade considerations

This unit replaces individual wall adapters and power strips for users who charge up to four 5 V devices at once. The step up is worthwhile when desk outlets are scarce or when a single tidy station simplifies cable routing for family or office use. It does not suit devices that require higher-voltage USB-C Power Delivery or proprietary fast-charge protocols. Buyers needing more than four simultaneous ports or faster charging standards should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the four USB ports and which ones should I use for tablets?

Plug the AC adapter into a 100-240V 50-60Hz outlet, then connect devices. Use the two 5V2A ports for tablets and the two 5V1A ports for phones.

What part will need replacement after heavy daily use?

The AC power adapter or the USB cables are the items most likely to wear out before the charger itself.

What limits how many devices can charge at full speed simultaneously?

The charger supplies a fixed 5V output with two ports at 1A and two at 2A, so total current is capped by those per-port ratings.
