Portable 2 TB SSD for students and professionals

The Orico e-Fox is a 2 TB external solid-state drive in a green finish. It provides pocket-sized storage for photo libraries, video projects and large document sets. Plug-and-play operation works across laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones. The drive suits anyone who needs fast, portable capacity without a power adapter.

Transfer ceiling at 560 MB/s over USB 3.x

Sequential reads reach up to 560 MB/s, while the underlying USB interface can negotiate 5, 10 or 20 Gbps links. Real-world throughput will not exceed the drive’s 560 MB/s limit even on a 20 Gbps port. Sustained writes on very large folders may settle below the peak figure. Buyers who need sustained multi-gigabyte-per-second rates should consider a desktop-class drive.

Leather-textured plastic shell with silicone strap

The enclosure uses leather-textured plastic that resists fingerprints and scratches. A silicone strap on the top edge lets the drive hang from a bag loop or wrist. A 2-in-1 USB-C and USB-A cable is included for broad host compatibility. The compact 1.52.60.5-inch form factor weighs 0.04 lbs and slides into a shirt pocket.

Questions about this item

Which capacity from 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB suits my needs?

The 2TB model stores the most photos, videos, and large project files; 1TB covers typical creative workflows; 512GB handles everyday documents and light media.

What does the 560 MB/s read speed mean for daily use?

It lets you open large video files or copy a 10 GB folder in roughly twenty seconds when the host port can sustain that throughput.

Which USB standard does the 20 Gbps rating rely on, and what limits it?

The drive reaches 20 Gbps on a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port; on 10 Gbps or 5 Gbps ports it caps at the port's maximum.
