Turns one USB-C port into dual 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 3 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 for 8K@60Hz, 10 Gbps USB-A and USB-C, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports.
Model 9-in-1
The Orico TB3-S2 is a Thunderbolt 3 docking station that adds two M.2 slots for NVMe or SATA drives up to 4 TB each. It connects to a host laptop over a single USB-C cable and provides 65 W of power delivery to keep the notebook charged while driving high-resolution displays and peripherals. The unit is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux without requiring driver installation.
A bundled 24 V 5 A power supply delivers 120 W to the dock so every port can operate at its rated speed simultaneously. The aluminium chassis and included thermal pad dissipate heat from the installed SSDs and the controller during sustained 40 Gbps Thunderbolt transfers or 8K60 video output. No fan is fitted, so the dock runs silently under normal office workloads.
The two bays accept one NVMe drive at up to 30 Gbps and one SATA drive at 6 Gbps, but both slots cannot use the same protocol at the same time. A screwdriver, Thunderbolt cable, 3.5 mm audio pass-through and the 120 W adapter ship in the box, letting users add high-speed storage and a full port complement in a single desktop device.

Other versions of this model
Insert the M.2 M-key NVMe or B-key SATA drive at 22 × 80 mm, secure it with the included screw, and connect the Thunderbolt 3 cable; the step people miss is that both bays cannot use the same protocol simultaneously.
The 120 W DC 24 V 5 A power adapter is the only external component that may require replacement if it fails; the dock itself has no user-serviceable parts beyond swapping M.2 drives.
Thunderbolt 3 caps total bandwidth at 40 Gbps, so combined NVMe, display, USB 10 Gbps, and Ethernet traffic cannot exceed that aggregate throughput.
