Splits one DisplayPort 1.2 signal into two 3840x2160 60 Hz outputs using a 15 cm aluminium hub powered via Micro USB
The Orico XD-DF2DP4 is a DisplayPort 1.2 MST hub that splits one DP input into two DP outputs. A Micro USB port supplies auxiliary power for stable operation. It supports 3840x2160 at 60 Hz on each connected display.
This adapter replaces the need for a second graphics output when a GPU or laptop provides only one DisplayPort connector. The jump is worth it when you need two independent 4K 60 Hz screens from that single port without adding a discrete card.
Total bandwidth is shared between the two streams, so driving both outputs at 3840x2160 60 Hz consumes the full link capacity. Higher resolutions, higher refresh rates or a third display are not supported by the 1.2 standard. The 15 cm cable length also restricts placement to very close devices.

The hub body plus the 15 cm tail require only a shallow recess behind the display; the short length keeps the bend radius tight without stressing the DP connectors.
Plug the Micro USB power lead in before attaching the two DisplayPort cables; the hub needs external power to drive both streams at 3840x2160 60 Hz.
Replace the Micro USB lead if the connector feels loose or the hub drops one 3840x2160 60 Hz output intermittently, as power loss is the usual cause.
