Signaling Mirror for Marine Use

The Orion signaling mirror is a compact accessory designed for marine environments. It provides a visual distress signal that can be seen over long distances. The durable construction resists corrosion caused by salt water exposure. It includes a lanyard for secure attachment during use.

Visibility Range and Operation

The mirror offers visibility up to 10 miles under suitable conditions. A built-in view finder helps the user aim the reflected beam accurately. Performance depends entirely on available sunlight and atmospheric clarity. It provides no illumination in darkness or heavy overcast.

Integration with Safety Kit

The mirror measures 3" x 4" and fits easily into a life jacket pocket or ditch bag. The attached lanyard prevents loss overboard during deployment. It requires no batteries, mounting hardware, or electronic integration. It serves as a reliable backup when powered signaling devices fail.
