Ormein Door Draft Stopper Silicone Black 39 inch

Silicone Draft Stopper 39 Inch

The Ormein door draft stopper is a 39 inch black silicone seal designed to close gaps up to 1.5 inches at the bottom of interior or exterior doors. Its hollow arc cavity construction blocks airflow, reduces noise transmission and keeps out insects without damaging floor surfaces. The self-adhesive backing bonds to wood, metal, tile or carpet and remains flexible across temperature extremes.

Best for Standard Door Gaps

Homeowners and renters seeking a quick, tool-free way to improve insulation on doors with gaps up to 1.5 inches will find this strip effective. It suits bedrooms, offices, basements, garages and RV entries where quiet and temperature control matter. Buyers needing to seal wider gaps, fit non-standard door widths without trimming, or install a mechanically fastened sweep should consider other solutions.

Gloves and Adhesion Promoter Included

The package supplies disposable gloves and an adhesion promoter so the installer can prepare the door surface and handle the silicone cleanly. Using the promoter and warming the adhesive with a hairdryer in cold conditions, then avoiding frequent door operation for 24 hours, ensures the strip stays fixed and performs as intended.
