Compatible units also include Acme Cobra, Coemar Infinity Spot L, Fine Art FINE 1000E and PR Lighting XR 1000 fixtures. Touring technicians and venue operators rely on the Lok-it base for fast servicing.

Output and Service Life

The lamp produces 90,000 lumens at a 6,000K color temperature with a 92 CRI rating for accurate color rendering. Rated life is 750 hours under normal operating conditions. The Lok-it PS Brilliant design targets natural skin tones and vivid hues for theater and broadcast use. Tool-free lamp changes reduce fixture downtime during shows.

Mechanical Integration

The lamp weighs 0.0990 and uses the proprietary Lok-it base for secure, tool-free installation. This mounting system aligns the burner precisely within the optical path of supported moving heads. No additional adapters or wiring harnesses are required for the listed compatible fixtures. The compact form factor maintains the fixture’s original balance and clearance.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Lok-it! 55022 lamp in my Martin MAC Viper Quadray, and what step is often missed?

Align the Lok-it! base with the fixture socket, push straight in until it clicks, then rotate the locking lever fully clockwise; the step often missed is confirming the lever has engaged the detent, otherwise the lamp can shift during movement.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1000W PS Brilliant lamp need after extended use?

The lamp is rated for 750 hours; after that period replace the entire module — no user-serviceable parts exist inside, and the fixture’s hour counter should be reset at each change.

What limit appears first when running the 90,000 lumen output continuously?

The 750-hour rated life is the first hard limit; sustained operation at full power will reach that threshold before thermal protection or colour-shift becomes an issue.
