Genuine Osram P-VIP lamp for Samsung DLP TVs
This Osram P-VIP replacement lamp restores brightness to compatible Samsung DLP rear-projection televisions. It is built to the original equipment specification and rated for 5000 hours of typical use. The unit ships new from an authorised Osram reseller.
Replaces earlier BP96-01472A lamps in listed models
It directly substitutes the BP96-01472A part across the extensive model range including HLS, HLT and RPT series sets. The upgrade is worth it when the original lamp reaches end of life or when brightness drops noticeably. No other projector or display types are supported.
Simple user installation with common tools
Most Samsung DLP sets allow lamp access through a side or rear panel secured by a few screws. The lamp housing slides out and the new module slides in without soldering or firmware steps. The main risk is touching the glass envelope with bare fingers, which can shorten lamp life.
