SKU CH-DVYC-0NB9C

A 150-metre armored single-mode patch cable with four LC/UPC fibres, TPU jacket, and waterproof heads for harsh indoor or outdoor deployments

  • Product typeRack
  • OS2 singlemode supports long-distance links at 1310/1550nm
  • Armored TPU jacket resists crush 1000/3000 N and 200 impacts
  • Four LC/UPC fibers with .3 dB insertion loss and 50 dB return loss
  • Tight 10D static and 20D dynamic bend radii suit field deployment
  • 150 m length with 200/600 N tensile rating for rapid retrieval

Tactical Fiber Cable

This 150 metre armored patch cable carries four OS2 singlemode fibers terminated with LC UPC connectors. It is built for rapid deployment in military or field environments where repeated retrieval and harsh handling are routine.

Build Integration

The TPU jacket resists oil, flame, abrasion and crushing forces up to 3000 N short term. A minimum dynamic bend radius of 20D and static radius of 10D frees routing inside tight conduits or around corners without signal loss.

Upgrade Path

It replaces standard indoor patch cords that cannot survive direct burial, vehicle traffic or repeated flex cycles exceeding 2000 bends. The jump is worth it when the link must cross building boundaries, underground ducts or tactical zones where ordinary cables fail.

Questions about this item

What is the minimum dynamic bend radius before signal loss increases on this 150 m armored cable?

The minimum dynamic bend radius is 20D (mm) and the minimum static bend radius is 10D (mm) for the G.657.A1 fiber grade.

How much insertion loss and return loss should I expect from the LC UPC connectors after a full day of operation?

Insertion loss is .3 dB for LC connectors; return loss is 50 dB for UPC polish.

What tensile load can the TPU jacket withstand during repeated field deployment and retrieval?

The cable supports a long-term tensile load of 200 N and a short-term tensile load of 600 N.
