Other Electricities 15m 10Gb Duplex OM3 LC/LC Fibre Optic Cable

SKU CH-GXEQ-0S8GM

A 15-metre duplex OM3 multimode patch cable with LC/LC connectors rated for 10 Gb links

  • Supports 10 Gb speeds over 15 m with OM3 multimode fibre
  • Low 0.2 dB insertion loss preserves signal integrity across the link
  • LSZH jacket material reduces toxic smoke in fire-risk environments
  • Duplex LC/LC connectors enable bidirectional data flow in a single cable
  • Rated for -40 °C to 75 °C operation in harsh temperature conditions

15 metre OM3 duplex patch cable

This 15 metre OM3 duplex patch cable carries 10 Gb multimode signals over 50/125 micron fibre. It is built for data-centre and campus links that need aqua-jacketed LSZH cable with LC connectors on both ends.

LC/LC UPC connectors for standard transceivers

The cable terminates in LC connectors with UPC polish at 850 and 1310 nm wavelengths. Insertion loss is rated at 0.2 dB and return loss at 30 dB, so it fits directly into SFP+ or QSFP+ ports without adapters.

LSZH jacket rated from minus 40 to 75 Celsius

The low-smoke zero-halogen jacket meets fire-safety requirements for indoor routing. Operating temperature spans minus 40 to 75 Celsius and storage temperature spans minus 45 to 85 Celsius, covering most equipment-room environments.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum insertion loss for the 15m OM3 duplex cable at 850nm?

The cable is rated at 0.2 dB insertion loss per connector, so the total link loss will depend on the number of mated pairs in the run.

How much heat can the LSZH jacket withstand during continuous operation?

The operating temperature range is -40 °C to 75 °C, so the jacket remains stable well above typical data-centre ambient temperatures.

Which transceiver form factor and wavelength must I already have for this LC/LC patch cord to work?

You need SFP+ or QSFP+ transceivers with LC duplex receptacles operating at 850 nm for 10 Gb/s multimode links.
