Otium U8 Red In-Ear Sports Headphones

The Otium U8 is a red in-ear headphone built for sports and exercise. It uses Bluetooth wireless connectivity with a dynamic driver for stereo sound. The neckband design includes ear hooks to keep the buds secure during running, hiking, or gym sessions. IPX7 waterproofing protects against heavy sweat and rain.

IPX7 Waterproofing and Dual-Device Pairing

The IPX7 rating means the sealed shell and nano-coating withstand sweat and water exposure during intense workouts. A built-in microphone handles calls with voice notification. The headset pairs with two devices simultaneously and reconnects quickly to Android or iOS. Battery status appears on iOS screens for easy monitoring.

Simple Pairing and Touch Controls

Initial pairing is straightforward with Android and iOS devices. Touch controls on the neckband manage volume, playback, and calls without reaching for a phone. The Micro USB cable is non-removable, so a damaged cable requires unit replacement. Bluetooth range drops from 30 feet in open space to 10 feet around obstacles.

Questions about this item

Will the non-removable battery or ear tips need replacing after heavy daily use?

The 8-hour battery is built-in and cannot be swapped; only the silicone ear tips are user-replaceable when they wear out.

What runs out first during a long workout — battery life or the 30-foot Bluetooth range?

Battery life ends first at 8 hours of continuous play, while the Bluetooth link holds up to 30 feet in open space.

How hot or noisy do the earbuds get when worn all day at the gym?

In-ear dynamic drivers stay cool and silent; only the IPX7 shell and ear hooks contact skin during extended sessions.
