Car Charger 18W USB-C

The OtterBox 78-52702 is a 12-24VDC car charger with a single USB-C port. It delivers 18W output at 5V/3A or 9V/2A for phones, tablets and other USB-C devices. The compact 1.20-in by 1.20-in by 2.67-in body weighs 21.50-g and fits standard accessory sockets. Supports USB Power Delivery 3.0, USB Battery Charging 1.2 and Apple charging standards.

USB Power Delivery 3.0 18W

This charger provides up to 3.6X faster charging when paired with a device that accepts USB Power Delivery 3.0 at 18W. The single port negotiates 5V/3A or 9V/2A automatically. It does not supply higher voltages or multiple ports, so devices needing more power or simultaneous charging will not reach their maximum rate.

Single-Port Compact Build

The small form factor leaves room for neighbouring sockets or storage in the centre console. Drop and vibration testing ensures the charger stays seated on rough roads. A tough exterior resists daily wear. It works with OtterBox cables and any USB-C cable rated for the negotiated voltage. Buyers needing multiple ports or higher wattage should look elsewhere.
