2L Deep Fryer for Home Kitchens

The OVENTE FDM2201BR is a 2 litre electric deep fryer powered by a 1500 watt heating element. It runs on a standard 120 volt supply and offers adjustable temperature control between 275°F and 375°F. The stainless steel body measures 8.25 by 8.25 by 13.75 inches and weighs 5.52 pounds.

Capacity and Temperature Headroom

The 2 litre (68 oz) oil capacity suits small batches of fries, chicken pieces, doughnuts or spring rolls for one to three people. The adjustable thermostat covers 275°F to 375°F, so lower-temperature items and standard deep-frying temperatures are both within range. Larger family portions or simultaneous multi-item frying will require multiple cycles.

Locking Lid, Viewing Window and Odor Filter

A locking lid with a viewing window contains splatter and lets you monitor browning without opening the fryer. Replaceable odor filters reduce lingering oil smells during and after cooking. Cool-touch handles and a detachable power cord add handling safety, while red and green indicator lights show heating and ready status.

Questions about this item

Will the 1500 W, 120 V fryer trip a kitchen circuit if I also run a toaster?

The fryer draws 1500 W at 120 V. On a standard 15 A branch circuit that is near the continuous-load limit, so plug it into a dedicated outlet or run it alone while frying.

How do I know the oil has reached the temperature I set on the adjustable thermostat?

The red LED glows while the element is heating; when the green LED lights the oil is at the selected temperature between 275 °F and 375 °F.

Does the box include the frying basket and the odor filter, or must I buy them separately?

The fryer ships with the removable frying basket and a replaceable odor filter already installed; no extra accessories are required to start frying.
