Compatible Cartridge for Oki B420 MB480

This aftermarket toner cartridge is built for the Oki Data B420 series and the MB480 multifunction printer. It delivers black laser output for offices that need consistent monochrome documents. The unit arrives new and requires no assembly before use. It suits buyers who want a direct replacement without recycled content.

Yield Behaviour Over Long Runs

The cartridge is rated for approximately 12000 pages under standard test conditions. Print density stays even across large jobs because the toner formulation matches the engine's fusing profile. Extended print sessions do not trigger premature fade or streaking when the printer is maintained normally. Buyers who need colour output or yields above 12000 pages should look elsewhere.

Drop-In Installation and Common Pitfalls

No assembly is required; the cartridge seats directly into the printer's toner bay. The chip communicates with the MB480 or B420 series without firmware errors when the printer is on current firmware. Forcing the latch or skipping the protective-strip removal causes leaks or sensor faults. Shops that refill empties on site will find this unit sealed and non-refillable.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does this cartridge add when the printer runs all day?

The cartridge itself produces no heat or noise; all sound and warmth come from the printer's fuser and fans during operation.

What must I already own for this toner to work?

You need an Oki B420 series or MB480 multifunction laser printer.

Will it work reliably in an older B420 unit I've kept for years?

Yes, it is built for the B420 series and MB480, so it fits and prints correctly in those models.
